does anyone know how much horse power there is to the wheels of a v6, 6 speed, 4.0. You loose power in the crank so i was just wondering if anyone knew. Manufacter says 261, but some is lost in the crank.

I have seen somewhere in the range of 221-229 from 4.0 Frontier reports.
One important fact to look at is at what RPM the horsepower is produced. Nissan does a nice job of packing the power down low where it is needed.

That's a pretty impressively flat torque curve.
