'01 Xterra odometer question -- urgent ;) - 19/04/05 10:26 AM

Picked up a '01 X and am cutting out of work today to register it.

Does anyone happen to know if the odometer has "five digits, excluding tenths" or "six digits, excluding tenths".

I have a feeling it's the second one, BUT a picture in a '03 instruction manual I found online looks like 5 digits.

Please hurry smile If I don't get an answer I'll have to register it tomorrow... [Geek]

My '00 has 6 digits on the odometer (the 'odometer display' mode does not show tenths).

99.9999999% likely that the '01 odometers are the same (there were almost NO differences between the two years.. just a few styling mods to the dash/instruments and different colors)

The odometer on my 01 has 6 digits with no tenths. The tenths display is on your 2 trip meters. Press your button and you will see the guage read trip 1, press again it will read trip 2. I use one for gas mileage and the other for oil changes unless I take a long trip then one becomes the total trip mileage.

Thanks all. Ended up having to rush to the DMV and guessed it was 6. Got plates, and on the road.
