"It's easy to grin,
When your ship has come in,
And you've got the stock market beat.

But the man who's worthwhile,
Is the man who can smile,
When his shorts are too tight in the seat."

I'm calling PhotoShop on that pic. The others in the linked thread look a lot more legitimate. This one's too perfect.

Re: Oooooops - 08/06/07 09:40 AM

If its photoshop then someone does good work. Looks like there might have been lifting lines attached to it (for a possible truck move) and well oops!!!!!

If its real hopefully that guy made it safe and if not then good work to the ones who did it!!!

Re: Oooooops - 08/06/07 09:58 AM

On the subject of ooops, here are a few I know were not photoshoped.

Loader incident -

Operator walked away. Always wear your seatbelt.

In the process of turning it back over.

Loci incident-

More dangerous than the loader. Operator jumped off and was also uninjured. Goes to show, never let a woman drive.

That was painful. Good find.

Re: Oooooops - 08/06/07 10:25 AM

Hmm...I'll call photo shop.

The driver seat has a cover on it as if the boat is stored. However, the shadows look right, so it's a good one.

Re: Oooooops - 08/06/07 11:57 AM

So after a dunking like that, is that considered a total loss? Would insurance pay out on that?

Or, since it's a boat, will they retrieve it and repair it? I gotta imagine it's designed to handle a little water . . . . laugh

Re: Oooooops - 08/06/07 02:11 PM

im a surveyor, so i work on alot of job sites around very heavy equipment. one of our jobs is at an open pit strip mine in west virginia. a few weeks ago, we were suppose to go down and work, but we got a call and were told not to come because the mine was closed. on this job site, they have VERY large CAT 777 dump trucks seen here:

well the guy driving it had just got off a late shift at a second job and fell asleep at the wheel of this truck. now, it may not look that big in the picture, but when you are standing just a few feet away while you're working and they're constantly driving past you, they're extremely huge. the tires alone are roughly 12 feet tall. its a 65 ton truck empty. well anyway, the guy fell asleep and drove head first off a 200ft cliff. he died on impact. makes you feel save when you're working at the bottom, which is 65 feet below sea level and the top is at an elev. of 600ft. gota wear a hard hat, steel toes and safety glasses, but that wont stop a 65ton truck.

Wow, bummer. Sux to be that guy.

Why is there a silhouette of an antelope taking a crap on the grille of that CAT?
