Joe Nuxhall dies

He was to the Reds what Harry Carey was to the Cubs. Maybe even moreso - 60+ years association with the team.

I can still remember listening to him and Marty Brennamen during the Reds' hayday back in the mid 70s.

Youngest player ever to play in a MLB game, right? 15 years old.

Yup. Had to pitch against Musial in his first appearance.

Rest well Joe. The old left hander will be missed.

Rounding third and heading for home...for the last time....
