Hey Huey,

I ordered the "full set" of skid-plates from Automotive Customizers...Including the new Rear Diff. & the Gas Tank Skid-Plates... [LOL]

Also ordered a pair of Heavy Duty Tie Rod Adjustors... [Freak]

But, I havn't quite decided on the Calmimi Steering replacement kit yet...Maybe later

Now that's something you'd never regret buying... Especially, you drive hard enough and need full skids... laugh

Xsal,
It has nothing to do with driving hard...It's all about Xterra protection... laugh

The better I can protect my X, the happier I'll be...Especially ,when or if, the time arises when I'll need that extra protection..."Better Safe Than Sorry"... [Smoking]

I'll let you know how it goes...I should have all the skids installed by the next club trip... [LOL]

I should be able to make it.

BTW, will the owner of an Alpine Green 2001 XE (looks bone stock and not sure if it's 4x2 or 4x4) who works at either the Circuit City or Don Sherwood's Golf & Tennis on Stevens Creek Blvd in San Jose, please stand up? I'm pretty sure I've seen your truck there everytime I've gone to Don Sherwood's, but today was the first time I'd seen the XOC sticker on the rear bumper. Since I don't recall seeing your truck at a meeting or event, maybe you're lurking around this forum.

Yeah, it was a blast. In fact, some goof who rode up and parked his red Yamaha sport bike decided to give us a few pointers about our POS Warn winches:

"In all my years of 4-wheelin' my Bronco, I've seen all sorts of Warn winches break down. They're junk. I see you've got nice Xterras. I didn't think they were that popular a truck to take off-roading. Well, anyway, you should really consider getting rid of your Warns and instead buy Ramsey winches because I've never seen a Ramsey fail. In fact, I asked a towtruck driver why he was using a Ramsey instead of a Warn, and he told me 'because I do this for a living.' Well, nice talking to you."

Whatever, Moron. And we finished eating our double-doubles. mad
