Hahah! I joined that forum a week or two ago, asked some questions about the car and which dealers were better before I made my final decision to buy.
It was either the Acura TSX (aka Euro-spec Honda Accord) or the 2003 Mazda6 sedan (V6 model). The TSX is a more elegant and refined car, though...
The car we got is a 5-speed automatic, blue exterior, black interior. There are only 4 TSX models: AT, MT, AT/Navi, and MT/Navi. It's already fully loaded in its "base" form, so it's got all the bells and whistles (visit
www.acura.com or
www.edmunds.com for the full specs, or read
Car and Driver 's review)
Since we're giving our 140,000-mile-young 93 Honda Accord coupe to a relative, the TSX will be my new "commuter", and the Pathfinder will be my wife's daily driver. Since she only works 4 miles from our home, it's a no-brainer to save on gas and to keep the miles from racking up. The truck turned 120,000 over the weekend!!!
The car is still at the dealer being prepped and getting LoJack installed. I'll eventually have the dealer install a rear wing spoiler and possibly some fog lights, and then, I
might get the wheels chromed and tint the windows, too.
