This would have been a BRUTAL weekend to be outside. Summer didn't sneak up on us, it attacked suddenly.

It was gross this weekend. We were out there for about 3 hours and then gave up before either of us stroked out. And, even slathered in SPF 45, I still got lightly burned. Blech.

Who in their right mind colonized this area?

Try 5 Soccer games over the weekend. William was in a soccer tournament and had three on Saturday (11:00am 3:00pm and 7:00pm) and then 2 more on Sunday (10:30am, and 3:30pm both of which went into overtime). But they got first place, so that made it all worth while to them!

That was me alright! And yes....it was miserably HOT! I think...no...I know that we should have stayed home instead. We just walked from shade to shade and drank LOTS of water. Couldn't wait to get into the X just to turn the air conditioner on. Well glad to know that we all survived and thanks for the shout out. BTW..were the yellow X parked on row 10 as well about 5 spaces down from us?

I was on the same row as you, but about 20 spaces behind. There were a lot of Xs in that parking lot, though. If I ever wash mine, I'll get my XOC sticker back on the bump.

This weekend had better be about 10 degrees cooler or I'm just gonna be whining the whole time....
