Painting Alloys vs. painting Steel

Painting Alloys vs. painting Steel - 29/06/04 08:30 PM

I have done two or three searches on this topic, which I found none answered my questions so I will give this a try. I am wondering what I would have to do to paint some 2000 SE alloy rims black. I have found that sandblasting them (how would I go about this?) is the first step followed by. A couple layers of rustoleum primer followed by rustoleum black. Does this sound right to anyone who has done this. And any help on how to do the sandblasting would be appreciated, if it is even necessary. Thanks confused
