05+ - adding steering wheel controls??

Has anyone added steering wheel controls to an 05 or later Xterra that didn't come with the Rockford Fosgate stereo?

I know it wouldn't control anything with the factory stereo, but I'm wondering if the non-RF Xterra's still have a wiring harness dealy-doo to plug into in the steering wheel if I bought the radio controls part. (Then, you can add one of those aftermarket steering-wheel-control adapters and use it with all the new aftermarket stereos)

Sound feasible? Anyone know?

nah, never even thought of putting steering wheel controls on one that didnt' come with it. I don't think it is that far of a reach to the dash.
