Center Grill Guard and Rear Bumper Guard (HELP) - 05/02/01 09:20 AM

I am trying to purchase the sporster center grill guard and the rear bumper guard. I would like to know if any one done it before, are they EZ to install. Direction would be helpful.
Thanks

I don't have the rear bumper guard, but I do have a brush guard. The brush guard is a breeze to install (should be very similar to the sportster). My guess is that they mount exactly the same way underneath, but the sportster probably doesn't have any upper anchors -- don't think it needs one either since it is considerably smaller than the brush guard. I can't imaging the rear guard being too difficult either. Just be sure to have a couple extra buddies giving you a hand to hold it up while you bolt it on.

Front bumper guard WILL do mroe damage in the accident

i have a proff ;(
i had an accident today
and i think with out Waag, i would have much much less damage !
I will post some pictures of the damage so you can see for your self

rear bumper guard is very easy to install, 3 bolts, i did it my self , but a buddy to hold it would be better
but again , it may do much more damage then with out it

Thanks guys. I'm gonna get those, althought I am a little bit concern about the accident. I'll post some pics later

Olegkha has the front photos and I have the rear photos. Although I think my rear bumper guard helped me. Look under the (XOC) Florida Xtreme Xterra's Club page and look for "The Anatomy of a wreck" (Jan. 3)
Remember his car was totaled.

Gator, do you have a link? I've seen the "The Anatomy of a wreck" mentioned a few time on here, but can never find a reference on the FLXX Page anywhere.

Also the page I see hasn't been updated since October 2000has the site moved?

Thanks

That thread is old and doesn't show in the default view. Make it show 30 or 60 days' worth and you'll see it.
