Help with pics please

I've never learned how to post pics on the web or on my messages. I've read the how-to's and it's a language I don't understand. Can some one help? Please.

1. Your pic has to be posted (an available) on the web somewhere to be 'accessed'. Yahoo, Geocities and some other hosting places won't work unfortunately.

2. Link or embed the URL in your msg.

For example if your pic is hosted at http://www.whatever_url.com/mypicturename.jpg
you would put the [img] tag in front and one [/img] tag at the end of the url.

Hey thanks... I'm in the process of make my own web space thru COX. It is winning right now because I can't get the CUTE FTP to connect yet. Or if it has I don't know where it is so I'm lost.

You don't have to FTP, Cox member services let you do it all from your browser.

Just log into your webmail from http://phoenix.cox.net and then click "My Account" near the top. It's pretty simple.

I went thru the open up your own web space process, I can even connect my FTP to something. But I don't think it is connecting to anything because nothing looks user frienly yet. I'm so lost. HELP.
