Need some help with SLR

Need some help with SLR - 29/05/04 12:24 PM

I made a purchase of some shackles from SLR a week ago and have heard nothing in the way of an email about shipping or even to have the purchase clear on my bank account. I have tried calling a couple of times and have had no luck, they said "It should be shipped out today or tomorrow." This reply has been given to me a couple of times now this week. Do any of you have a name of a person you would suggest speaking to over there at Spencer Low about this.

Gabe, search under "manufacturers, parts/accesorries, and problems" for SLR. They're not held in very high regard for customer satisfaction 'round here.
In fact there's currently a thread concerning this very matter in "parts/accesorries" clicky-clicky :rolleyes: .

The best person to ask for is Spencer Jr. I had quite a few problems a while back when I ordered some Add-A-Leafs and New Shocks. It took several phone calls on my part each time getting a different answer as to when the parts would ship. When all was said and done, I had to drive over to the manufacturers and pick up the parts myself. I'll shop elsewhere now.

It is ridiculous how they keep screwing up the chances that they are given! Don't make promises that you can't keep. Sure, every customer wants their stuff right away, but if you can't provide it right away (and a lot of companys can't)...then don't tell people that you can. It is much worse than quoting the good ol 3-5 or 4-6 weeks. Atleast that way people won't have expectations that they will receive it sooner. I wonder if they read this board??

If people will keep canceling their orders like this maybe they will get the hint and fix this recurring problem.

I had the same experience as Ryan. Ordered AAL's, never got them, never got any response from them. Finally they arrived many weeks after I ordered. I also ordered new shocks and they sent me the wrong ones.

I won't order from them again.
