Search and you shall find!

Hopefully this helps or just do a simple search!
I just have too much damn time on my hands during the Christmas Break from school. Oh, and it helps that the boy is asleep.

The thinking behind the battery thing is to trick the truck into thinking that it needs to adjust the air/fuel mix. After reconnecting the battery drive the truck like you stole it. I don't know if this works because the X adjusts the idle, A/F mix, etc. on it's own.
As far as closing the res/ I left mine in place, covered the opening with electric tape and sealed it back up. I checked it this past weekend and it has been holding quite well for the past year.

yea i got everything on sound ok but the gibson sounds like its gasping for air...i think i might try something else(intake wise) i am not sure but its not even noticable at idle and kinda low rumble on the road

Gibson isn't known for being loud. They pride themselves on being closer to stock sound levels and great breathing.
I have the K&N FIPK and a Gibson, it growls a quite a bit more than stock.
