I've had my shackles and torsion lift now for about 8 months and have noticed the springs flattening out.. whats the best remedy, AAL's ??? also would like to buy some news shocks which ones to get with the 2 inch shackle lift and torsion lift up front? thanks peoples...

Rancho 9116's in the rear would work for you. That's what I use with the 2" shackle lift (also noticing the springs start to sag a bit more). AAL's might be on my list to replace the shackles...we'll see.

Aloha, do you off-road? Or are they sagging from normal on-road driving?

You might want to try the AAL's instead of, or in conjunction with - the shackles. They'll give you another 2" of lift or so to make up for the sag.

hey boarder... Ofroad not as much as I would like.. But whenever I see a place to be I go... AAL, huh I think that might be what I need in the future... aloha

Yeah, what Synchro said...

If I had to do it over again, I'd have gotten the AAL's instead of the shackles...

I'll replace 'em soon, I think.

That might work, Nick... I'm thinking of picking up some sliders, too - but I wanna do it before next year. wink

You know, there's another benefit of sliders. Side impact protection! Granted, the frame isn't far behind them, and they'd still hit your door... But hey, every bit helps!
