Havent really heard of anyone doing that to their X and not sure if it possible. Most people with an X that want more space for tires or flex use a combination of of the 3" lift and a body lift. If you find a way im sure that it would be interesting to others here, Good Luck.

There are higher lifts, you replace the LCA too though, like Total Chaos, etc.
AC sells ball joint spacers, gives a 1/2" of lift I think.
I have not really checked them out, as traditionally, ball joint spacers are trouble for the system...and lead to breakage...and its a bunch of work/risk for 1/2".
I may ask why you want more lift...as there may be other ways to skin the cat....?
Maybe the same function can be tackled with a different technique/mod?
