J.J, is up there with Ben Harper, G.Love and Special Sauce, and DMB for top artist playing in the background during our poker games. Smooth, slick, tight, and just a little funky (reminds me of a girl I dated). Gotta love 'em.

Talk about "getting a little older," My wife is 9 years younger than I am. We were 26 and 35 when we got married. Not too long after, I was cruising through the channels and I got all excited that TVLand was showing reruns of Mary Tyler Moore. She asked me, "Who's Mary Tyler Moore?" *sigh*

They've got this reggae punk thing going on, very beach style, so-cal music. and since we're on the topic of Jack Johnson, another of my favourites, this guy's music is universal, and timeless. Wow im like a groupie. The guy's a former pro-surfer turn musician from Hawaii. If you guys want good covers, check out all the stuff he does on Marley.
