Good and bad mixed feelings... Parts will become cheaper, but you'll also be replacing more parts now that's being made in Mejico. Plus side, maybe Titan will come out with a SuperTitan featuring a Solid Axle in the Front.

Wonder if they'll discontinue the 5.6 and the nice trannies that go along with it.
Dodge can't seem to build a transmission that lasts anymore.
Solid fronts and durable rears does sound good. Maybe some real hardware will make it under the Gen 3 Xterra and Frontiers to replace the aluminum crap that's in there now.

I'd be surprised if Dodge doesn't go IFS within the next two years anyway. Xterra with a solid front? Hahaha, NEVER!
Dodge doesn't have anything that Nissan couldn't do better themselves...if they wanted to. I think Nissan has just kind of dropped the ball on the Titan, sadly. They came at it full speed, but they were too late to begin with and then they let it slip away.

Dodge half tons already are IFS and have been since 2002. Only the 2500 and 3500 trucks are SFA.
Now that Daimler doesn't own them anymore, the rush to make everything more carlike might slow a bit.
The Dodge D44 fronts are on national back order through Dana and the aftermarket. I couldn't keep them in stock and now I can't get more..what does that tell you about their solid front axle?
