Just wanted to say hello. Just bought an '04 Xterra 4x4 XE on Sunday and so far I love it. Here's some pics:

Rest of pics here...

Any suggestions as to what I should upgrade first? I noticed the headlights are pretty dim, so I'd like to maybe try some PIAA's. I'd also like to space the wheels out just a bit more too and give it a wider stance. Any advice is appreciated!

Welcome!

1) People have had good results with the PIAA's and Sylvania bulb upgrades. The PIAA's are more expensive and only marginally brighter than the Sylvanias. I have the PIAA's on my 2001 and I think they are great. When they burn out - I'm gonna replace them with Sylvania's cause I'm not sure the PIAA's are worth the extra cost. (just my opinion)

2) Be careful with wider tires. If you get them too wide - then you may have rubbing issues when you are trying to turn. In the stock set up - the tolerances are kinda tight to begin with so there isn't alot of room to play with adding a wider stance. I achieved a wider stance by upgrading my tires from the stock Grabbers to BFG AT/KO's (31" 10.5)
