The top one is a Frontier, and the second is a Pathy, right???
Hard to tell on the second with the way the body design is done.
Indeed, neither is an Xterra, so they GET NO SOUP!!!!

As it is, there were a couple of X-trails in the running.

I don't like watching the bikes all that much,But I do give them tremendous credit though cause with alot of the softer surfaces you can see that they have to struggle to stay on two wheels....

Hello.......AAA towing? How the hell did they get that thing out of there? Edited to add this info I found on the crash- Today at 10.47 a.m. Gerard de Rooy and his crew crashed after 152 kilometers in the stage Siwa – Siwa. At a place where the organization placed a picket this morning, the truck driven by Gerard de Rooy dashed from a sand dune. The picket was knocked down by a motorbike and not put back, or blown down.
“Because of that we dashed steep downwards and landed on the bumper, the cabin toppled and I knew that that was the end”, stated a deeply affected Gerard de Rooy. “If we had driven 5 meters to the right, it would have been o.k. We didn’t over speed as we were on the lead. As we agreed we wanted to stay ahead of Tchaguine in the dunes and we did. Mischief comes without calling for. The cabin, chassis and engine are irreparably destroyed, it’s over”, said the 22 years old son of Jan de Rooy, who impressed so much in the field until now.
Tom Colsoul was still shivering in his shoes: “I thank the people that made the roll bar on bended knees, we hardly took any risk during the rally and now this happens”, said the Belgian who doesn’t conceal being proud of the performance from Gerard de Rooy, Arno Slaats and himself “We were close, that tough is top-class sport”.
Father Jan, who started after his son, was only a few minutes later on site to acquaint himself with the situation. When he saw that nobody was injured and that his son’s truck was irreparably destroyed, he drove on. “Only one thing is important, that’s the health of the Team. They’ll get over the shock and the disappointment. I stay very proud of the Team”.
