What you find is the number parts you would have to buy, the custom fabbing of stuff, entire differential replacement, on and on and on...costs generally run too high to be practical, I would guess 10-15K would get her done on an X eek Better to just learn your lesson, get what you can out of the 4x2 and pick up a 4x4 when you can. And dont feel silly, this question must get asked a 100X each month in 4x4 magazine letters to the editor, and they usually print one response regularly. It would seem reasonable.....
