You people sure know how to welcome someone. Kavett the best way to learn is the hard way, the easy way gets taken for granite. What you did reminds me of shit I use to do in high school. We use to go mudding 2wd mini-trucks, my friend had a old Toyota corolla another friend had a old 86 Honda CRX we use to go mud bogging all the time, stab and steer was are motto, slipping, sliding and getting stuck was all par for the course. We always had a good time and now when I look back I just smile. So get out there and have fun.
