So I have the same BF Good Rugged Traial T/A's my truck came with. They are a pretty good off road and highway tire, however, my off road days are limited with new wife, kid on the way, new job. So I'd like to take a quick poll. What kind of tires should I get?

I'll probably just get the BF's again, but at $140 per tire, I'm looking for something maybe a bit cheaper. Just want something that handles best on the highway, ice/snow, and rain. Thanks for any feedback.

(2003 Xterra SE/SC 17" tires)

Take a look at the bridgestone revo's. Absolutely fanstastic on snow, ice and in rain. Great off road as well. Cheaper the BFG's to boot.

you could take alook at cooper ATRs...usually cheaper.

i've always heard that if you find some 15" wheels...you'll actually save money on buying the 15" wheel/tire combo, than 17" tires

I just replaced my BFG AT KOs with about 80k miles on them. Best tires I've ever owned. Great on and off road.
