Just had 4 new tires put on. The air pressure is the same on all 4 at 35.
It pulls pretty hard to the right now. It rode perfecly straight before. Any clue what might have happened?

Thanks,
Tom.

Most likely your old tires were worn improperly due to bad alignment which balanced out the pull. Now with the new tires the pulling is obvious. If it's not the case you may have a defective tire on your hands, or the installers somehow screwed up the alignment for ya.

I'd get it back to the place you got them and have them take a look at it.

I don't think it was from a previous bad alignment. The tires I took off were in perfect shape (a bit low on tread). I have about 12k on the truck. I have to lean towards something the guys putting them on did. I did not see anythng odd at all though. Could dropping it quickly from a floor jack be the cause? Is my only remedy getting it aligned?

Tom.

No, dropping it too quickly from the lift would not do it. Your suspension is under greater stress on the street from pot holes.

It could really be a defective tire. I would check that out first.

I suppose it could be a bad tire. I bought some pretty cheap rubber. They 'look' really good though. All 4 are round and I can't see any oddities.

If I switch the fronts around, should it pull to the left if there is indeed a bad one? Can the rears play into it?

They may look fine but you cannot see whether the deefect may be structural, which can cause the pull.

If you do switch the tires around and in fact it does pull the other way, then you're guaranteed that it's the tire. The rears will not have much effect on pulling, especially since you stated it was pulling rather hard.
