It can be done...but requires BFHing modification to fit.

I have 3" SL + 2" BL, and 33's...on a 2001...and I'd need another inch well clearance to get 35's on there and still stuff....if you use the OEM rims, it will fit with the above clearancing...if you use rims with less than 5.25" of backspacing...you would need to sawzall off large tracts of metal work to get even 33's on there.

BTW - with 35's...your crawl ratio is pretty bad, and you'll be struggling on hills a bit due to the change in effective gearing....it looks to me that w/o re-grearing...33's are a point of diminishing return on the X.
