Things used to be so much easier. Need some help if anyone has an idea. I'm pulling the factory stereo and installing the deck from my previous car. Getting the stereo out was no problem. I wired up the new harness, plugged it all in and .................. nothing. No power. Plugged in the factory unit ...... same thing, no power. Checked all the fuses and they're fine. Is there some kind of security feature that kills power when the stereo is removed? By the way, it's a 2003 X. Thanks for any help.

hmm take it to the dealer or an car audio store and im sure they can help.
