On my way home from school, I was going over the same hill I go over everyday. Today when I reached the top of the hill, I had to stop for the stop sign. As I started braking, the break pedal was like bouncing and like a hard banging noise started. I was only a block away from home so I just went there and looked at my car. Everything seemed alright, but then again I don't know much about cars. Is this something I should be worried about?

What you describe sounds like ABS engaging. Were you braking harder than normal? Were you on pavement (as opposed to dirt/gravel)? Was the road wet perhaps?

IMHO, any irregularity involving brakes is something to be concerned about until you figure out what caused it.

Like dude, your like ABS like activated. Either you like lost traction, or perhaps there was like a malfunction in like the ABS circuit. If it does it more while braking normally then it needs to see the Doctor and have the ABS system checked. Otherwise, you like just hit the brakes too hard or hit a slick spot or something.
