I have the 6-disc changer in my X and have had only one problem.. While driving on the interstate I noticed the volume going up and down. Maybe there was a poltergeist in my ride, but this continued for approximately 10 minutes. I switched the power off and on, then I took out the discs. Still there. I played with the steering wheel controls to no avail. Finally it stopped and it has not been back. Hard to explain.
