Cold weather is coming which is nice (at least here in Florida)

Anyone else excited about the cooler weather coming? I think its more fun offroading in the colder temperatures.

Yeah def! The winter is my summer. I really don't do any wheeling in the summer or anything for that matter. In the winter you can't keep me indoors I can't wait!

I looooove the cold. I bought a chiminea last weekend and I've been using the heck out of it already (even though it's been in the 80's and low 90's ).

I threw in a foil wrapped steak/potato/onion thing the other day and cooked it on the coals

Oh, yea move to Austin where it gets really really cold!

You can not live in Florida and talk about how much you like the cold weather.

That was the biggest item on my list of reasons NOT to make the move further south... but the positives won out.

Amen to that, nothing like the -10 degree wind chill. Those days really make you love heat and humidity sometimes

Ummmm...... Its Here. The wind chill is -5 outside right now. I might have to put a coat on.

We got 6" of snow at home saturday before last. We were even on the weather channel. Course it hasn't really gotten cold yet.

Thats still shorts weather in my book. Nothing like walking outside with -40f air temps and burning lungs to let you winter has hit.

Let me clarify.. I like the "cold".... you know... when it's like in the 50's - and maybe you have a few weeks where it gets below freezing and there's some snow.... not that nipple freezing stuff you're talking about.

So your not down with it being so cold that you can impale yourself on your wife/girlfriends nipples kinda cold huh!?!?!

The perfect day (at least according to me): Temps in the low 20's, calm winds, clear skies, and about 8 inches of fresh powder to ski on. Really cold: -35 with heavy winds out of the north. Might actually think about a hat that day.

Winters in AZ are perfect. Summers are Hell. 60 / 70 degree days here we come

-35F... lol I've never witnessed anything that cold, high 30s is freezing for me.. (Here in Florida at least)which it rarely gets that cold, and when it does its only for a day or so.

While it's always been my dream to live in Colorado, Michigan, or Maine..NJ isn't that bad. Winters are cold and summers are hot. Fall and Spring could be either or. I just wished we'd get more snow..I'm getting kind of annoyed w/ this global warming shit..

Yeah, it seems that every year we get less and less snow down here. The city of Chicago barely ever gets anything, as it always seems warmer here by the lake. Western and northern burbs almost always get more.

It seems like over the last few years the snow patter has been shitty. We'd get one or two snows that are over 6" or so and that's all for the winter. Everything else is usually a much smaller amount that always seems to melt within a few days or right away. Sucks.

It's snowing below 5,000 feet.

October 21st. pretty early to have snow this lowing and south in Colorado......better get the sprinkler drained soon.....

I was in Breck in feb, it was -32 with the wind chill, made for an uncomfortable lift ride.

I want an all natural cooler like that..

ill take 70-80 anyday, especially coming off a summer that hit 120's, ewww

time for snowboarding!!! at least when a storm hits us.

Winter needs to set in here soon. Havent skied yet this year and thats not right. Perfect winter day at the resorts includes windy with low visibility(only core locals riding the tram), and 20+inches of snow. Hoping for alot of those days this year.

Cooling off here but slim chance we'll see snow this year. Would be nice though, I miss an occasional snow day.

I love skiing those days when its down in the teens, overcast and snowing like a blizzard. I'll take those days over blue bird days everytime.

5 degrees here f. Too cold to even have a beer. Time for a Bloody Mary. No snow. Big heating bill on the way.

We're in an Atlanta suburb and it's 17 with a wind chill of 4 and snow on the ground. Not exactly an average winter's day.

That was supposed to come here. DAMN you for stealing our snow. :p
