I believe the official words for the interior like the dimensions or the volume inside the X won't be available until January next year.

wow Offroad X, I'm proud at the fact that you didn't scream your ass off at him... I could go on and on insulting this guy, just like everybody else on this site about how important the search function is. Hey buddy, here's a good response...

Since Nissan is the maker of the 2005 Xterra, you might just wanna kinda possibly search there site... Hu ever thought of that? Ever occur to you that maybe the creators of the actual car might possibly, one in a billion chance actualy have the dimensions for the piece of machinery that they are creating? Look buddy I'm sorry for venting, and trust me I'm holding alot back, but you really need to look around before you blatantly make a thread. Now I understand why so many people get so infuriated by this... The first thread of the general topic is guess what? About the 05 Xterra! duh duh duuhhhhhhh!

I'm not trying to start anything. If you wanna scream at me then have your fun, and I'm sorry for makin this post I should of just simply clicked away.

actually I was looking for the inside dimensions. And if you think I'm going to go through 46 pages of responses, then I'll just go elsewhere. I did go to their site adn I didn't find anything, I even built one to see if it had all of the specifications with it, but it didn't. But thanks for the help [Finger]

well I sat in the new pathfinder, and from the pics in some of the other threads, it looks like its got the same interior. I'm thinking the space will be the same since the width of the pathfinder adn new X are the same

yea I didn't get to drive it because of time, but it felt pretty sweet. The crazy thing was, the dumbass dealer told me the interior was going to be the same as the 04, adn the ONLY difference between the 04 and the 05 was the grill. I've been reading for a long time on the 05, adn it seems that one of the bigger points they are making is the size on the inside. Those guys kill me with the knowlwedge they COULD hvae as opposed to what they do have

I checked out a new 05 pathfinder and our conversation turned to the X and I to find that most of the salesman know very little about the new changes. They may just be hanging onto the information so they can try to sell the 04's still on the lot.
The Pathfinder seems a bit to little to have a third row of seats. The backseat does not have much room at all, at least not for most adults and the third row would be for kids only. The backseats cannot slide back either to give more leg room. I think the new 05 X will actually have more room in the backseat then the Pathy and I can't wait to see one.
I read where the first Frontiers were just rolling off the assembly lines last week, so based on when the Pathfinder first launched and when the Frontier started, it will be at least December or January before we see the Xterra's start rolling off the lines in Smyrna,TN. Right on schedule.

sweet! anyways, someone wanted to know about the chrome gauges that come standard with the 05 x se. i found some pics on ebay of the pathfinder and since the interiors are basically the same thing here's what the gauges will most likely look like:
