If I found what you were talking about, it looks like a "fancy" tire gage. Including links help make sure everyone is on the same page. I don't see where it would plug into an air source.



I think this is what you are looking for. I have the upper/right one. But I did swap the gage from it's orginal 0-160 to one that read 0-60. FWIW, the Staun deflators aren't worth the brass they are made out of. I have found them anything but repeatable.

I've been using CO2 in my tires for 2 years and it hasn't done dick to my tires, but I also been replacing tires anually. Ask yourself, would people sell CO2 for this application if it ate tires?

Nitrogen could be used as well, the aircraft industry uses it in tires.
