You use rtv silicone. I can get you the exact specs for what Nissan calls for if you want.

Mine was leaking before I even put it on. I had peeled the cover back twice. It was so bad that when I took the bottom three bolts out, diff fluid just poured out. I already planned on taking the cover all the way off to pound the lip back, so it wasn't a big deal.
