OK...just called them up and spoke to "Alex"...said they have none currently in production but are tossing the idea around as far as one of the next products they may produce...said they haven't decided on whether to do only '05's and forward or to do the older styles as well...If they do the Xterra headers they will also do the Frontier headers as they should be similar....Only V6's they are looking at...no 4 cyls...Given that they have not decided definately one way or the other to produce these but they are considering it, he reccomended that I(We...) email and/or call the company and put in our two cents...I added the problems that many of us have with the exhaust manifold creates a good demand already for new headers and he agreed...So...if you want more headers to be produced beyond SLR's (of which I have yet to hear of more than 2 sets being purchased and installed and with unknown results) I would reccomend you call and/or email JBA with your wishes, desires, and concerns...Web link is this: JBA headers...
and you can send them a message through the "contact us" button on the upper right...or you can call them directly using the 800 # at the bottom...
Oh...and I am not advertising for them and have no connection to them of any kind...would just like more and more products for the X produced and the only way that will happen is if we speak up in #'s....

Thank for contacting JBA. Hopefully they will make the headers for older X's. I would be nice to have other options for headers other than SLR (not that anything is wrong with SLR).

Here's the response I got, when inquiring about headers (it's an email thread, so start reading from the bottom and work your way up):

John.,
Well, it looks like if we decide to offer a header for the Exterras, it will be for the current model year going forward. Thank you for checking with us.

This is the older truck and we don't currently have it on the R & D list.
