Anonymous Unregistered	A couple of weeks ago I put on a Calmini steering kit and took of my Bilstein steering stablizer because it seems to be in the way of the center link. Has anyone installed the Calmini kit and used either the Rancho or the Bilstein stablizer from 4x4parts.com? I called AC and they said that the bracket that attaches to the steering gear box is the same for both and should work with the new steering kit.

Anonymous Unregistered	It was a pain to get the stock kit off but, the Calmini kit went on smoothly. Now I have to figure out what to do about the stabilizer.

Anonymous Unregistered	Because of the Chesapeake Bay we have some high bridges in the area and the wind can be a mother f'er. You can tell a big difference. It helps when the tires are bouncing around offroad too.

jorge Member Registered: 27/11/00 Posts: 1147 Loc: Montclair, NJ	Yeah, a lot of people have said that you don't need a stabilzer with the Calmini SS, but it is much nicer. I had the Rancho stablizer, and had the same problem with the shock hitting against the centerlink. What I did was put a metal spacer between the plate and the centerlink. I drilled holes in it so the U-bolts could go through.
