I don't know about those keys, but Xterra 2nd gen chassis is (D22) !!

I just found somthing on the web saying all xterras are WD22. Would first and second gen chassis codes be the same?

I don't know that partner, all Frontier chassis, are (D2), but how that figures into that key sale-I'm outa the loop--

I don't have a chip in my key..got that confirmed w/ the remote start I just got done. I've been looking for this key for a while. I've seen them for 90, 60, 50 but never 30. Small price to pay to make me happy.

Yea, thats right, I heard somewhere that the chips didn't come out, till sometime in '05--

I just bought it..I'm going to take it to Lowe's. There's a thread on here about chips w/ the remote starters. Theres a list of chassis codes it will work with on the auction that's why I asked about that..

And xterraparts.com confirmed 1st gen as a WD22 and 2nd gen as an N50 I beleive..

Yes, 00-04 is WD22, 05+ is N50. 98-04 Frontier is D22U, 05+ is D40. You can see them all here:

None of the Xterras prior to 2005 have a chipped key.

Yep! I think the guy sold out of them but I was able to get one in time..
