Sure. Hose clamps might work as well, but duct tape is pretty cheap stuff...if it works for you what the heck?

Just did the mod, there is a noticable difference in acceleration. Not too much but noticable. [ThumbsUp]

There was quite a bit of gappage in the intake connections. The duct tape really plugged them up. There was also a very small hole in the (long) plastic piece that connects to the air filter to the intake box(?), I had no idea why Nissan would put that there, so I covered that too. It's right above the friggin engine!?

I dont know what Nissan was thinking when they designed the intake for the 4 Banger. confused

All in all very easy mod and it doesnt hurt to try it. Very cheap and effective.

Gotta love duct tape! wink
