Don't know much about lockers or the 2nd gen but can the stock diff gears handle it?

Might be a bad way to blow a diff and not get a replacement under warranty since it had an after market locker.

It's actually the same locker that is used for the 1st gen X's

they are both a 31 Spline C200

ALL are with the H233B rear (V6) but the 4-bangers got the C200. It went from 29 splines to 31 splines in 2003.

And, from what I recall, it wasn't the Ring and Pinion that were failing it was the spider gears, which a locker eliminates...oh and it was the Dana variant, the M226 or whatever, axle that was blowing up.

Huh... Imagine that, "I can't get this square block to fit in the circle hole."

yeah i sent them the info a while back and they said the carrier wasnt close to the 1st gens so i was surprised when they said the 1st gens would work on the 2nd gens , what had happened the carrier that was sent in was mislabeled , labled as a 2nd but actually a first gen , someone in Cali found this out the hard way

but the situation is being corrected hopefully , i sent my carrier into ARB last week to get measured up
