Anonymous Unregistered	Timing Belt.... with a 2006, you should not have to worry about it for a long time. Good for 105K.

Good for 105K. Are you SURE? Someone else asked the same question a couple days ago and they were told that it had a chain. It should be really obvious from looking at the owner's manual... just look around the 100k mark in the maintenance schedule and see if it says anything about changing the belt. _________________________ Warning! Anonymous Unregistered	Pretty sure we got a chain. After looking at the owner's manual I can't find anything about changing out a belt. This may not mean anything but at Nissan's web site they show the VQ engine for the pathfinder with a chain in one of their diagrams. However, I realize that a diagramatical representation isn't necessarily accurate. We will eventually get to the bottom of this mystery!
