ok, got my new computer in about a month and a half ago, question is, i have my old computer that of course i would use it to synch my ipod with and now that i got a new laptop i would like to use it to do the synching now. how do i a. put all the songs from my ipod onto the new laptop and itunes and b. how to do i program it to where the new laptop synches with the ipod everytime i plug it in...i think this makes sense? I have vista if that matters.. thanks!

In order to get all of your songs from your ipod onto your new computer, you would have to buy software that allows you to do so. There a bunch of them that can be found easily on the internet for about $30.

Getting your old itunes library to the new computer can be down by getting an external usb drive and moving it through that.

As far as the ipod syncing every time you plug it in, i am currently forgetting exactly where you go for that, but it is somewhere in the preferences of itunes

Synching everytime is part of the setup on the Ipod istelf. I don't know how to access it after the initial setup, but during the initial setup it is one of the questions asked. ( think it says something about manual or automatic in the question).
