okay i know i already posted this before but i labeled the subject wrong so here it is again. when shifting from 2hi to 4hi, are you supposed to be gassing it (as long as your under 25 mph) or just letting the car move with the built up force. also i get a rattling noise coming from the drive shift lever. i know i unlocked the 'hubs', because i did here the clicking noise when i drove in reverse. is the rattling normal or is somethin wrong?

the one thing i dont understand...call me an idiot i accept it...but when you say shift to neutral before going to 4lo, do you mean shift the drive lever to neutral (the one on the left) or shift the lever on the right to neutral (the one with park and drive)?

Never use neutral on the transfer case.
