I, too have noticed the 'seep' at the rear diff drain plug and agree if it is not puddling it shouldnt be a problem. However it bugs those of us that, if we don't have something to compluse about, will find something to compulse about. Perhaps a bit of teflon tape around the drain plug threads? Note that, at least on the 01 I changed the diff fluid on, the drain plug end is beveled and apparently seats on a similar surface within the drain plug hole. I arrived at this conclusion when trying to run the plug all the way such that there weren't any threads exposed so they wouldnt continue to get boogered up by inconsiderate rocks I was passing over. A little low grade locktight might work, too.
