I'm replacing the clutch on my 2001 4x4 this weekend. I already know I need to remove the flywheel position sensor, the exhaust Y-pipe and the torsion bars before I get started.

Anyone have any other helpful bits of information for me before I dive in?

Well, I'm "this close" to separating the engine and trans, but ran out of time for today.

I way, way underestimated the amount of time it would take to get everything out of the way of the trans, ie: exhaust, torsion bars, cross members, shifter, drive shafts, sensors, wiring, starter, etc...

I got the trans and clutch off this morning. I also found a leaking brake hose and a leaking rear main seal, so those need to be replaced wile the truck is all apart. I'm taking the flywheel to be resurfaced tomorrow.

ETA: I was surprised to see how much clutch material was left on the disc after160k miles. It had lots of life left in it. I undertook this whole project to replace a dead pilot bushing.
