This morning I went to shift into reverse and started to go forwand and stalled??? 4th was were reverse should have been. To get to reverse I had to really push the lever to the right pushing on the console. On the way to work the lever moved back to where it should be. Took it to Tynan's and Cyclemut confirmed it was a broken driver's side mount.. on a manual tranny. Tynan's is going to replace it under warranty

Lucky you, I'm on my third and my Nissan dealer has never covered it under warranty.

Your lucky man those things are a royal pain in the arse to replace. Helped out a buddy and i have never spent more time in my life basically changing out three bolts. BTW the Xterra engine has a lot of room to move around before bad noises happen, we know now!!!! hahaha!!!

Well, it wasn't so bad. But then again, I have a lift, air tools, etc. laugh

That thing was tore up though. By looking at the chunk that came out with the upper portion, it would seem that Nissan would put it inside the rubber a bit more. frown

Air tools and a lift would be great. We used an ARB for the jack stands and I think a 14mm wrench to turn all three. I really need to invest in some air tools!!!! HaHaHa!!!

confused Three? That means you had to bust one at least twice. Why not just chain/cable the motor in place so it can't move far enough to break the mount?
