I know the 6-speed Off Roads are not yet in production, but are the side airbags also not yet available? I had a dealer tell me that if I order an Off Road 6-speed with side airbags, it may be June before I get it because of side airbags not being ready. Does anyone have them yet?

I think he was just trying (desperately) to get me buy the 6-speed S model on the lot.

My dealer didn't say that, but he did do a large area search for me, in front of me, and it came up with finding zero OR/airbag package Xs.

Offroad 6 speeds are availible now, I drove one. I wanted the side airbags so I ended up ordering one. It will be here in 60 days. (I hope) I had several dealers do a search for any with side airbags, could not find one anywhere.

He could just be talking about the delivery time for ordered vehicles. I have been talking to my local dealer about ordering one with all the options i want and none of the ones I don't. I won't budge on the color choice either, so he said I might as well order one if I'm not dying to have it right this moment. He told me that Nissan's cutoff date for placing orders is the first Wednesday of each month. So, Moabite, if you just spoke to a dealer in the last day or two, you would have missed the first wednesday cutoff. That would mean that the factory would process your order with the rest of the batch that arrives up through April 6th (1st Wed. of April). After that, there is an 8 to 10 week average delivery time for specially ordered vehicles. That would put you around the first week or so of June.
But, on the other hand, that was from a dealer, so who knows if it's correct.
