Not a big fan of the fruity flavored type, I prefer mine on the coffee tip.

I drink zipfizz as it is a bit cheaper. (Costco)

It has 41667% RDA B12. Seems to help by the end of the day.

I have a friend who nearly killed himself with redline... that shit is dangerous.

The only time I drink any of that stuff is when I'm trying to stay awake on loooong drives. I've had a total of maybe 6 Red Bulls in my life.

Yep same goes for other vitamins. Vitamin tablets \'may do more harm than good\'

I was just trying to get away from Caffine for awhile. I haven't had any coffee for weeks (Will have tomorrow) and use the Zipfizz instead.

I like the Vodka Redbull, but I'll only have maybe two in a sitting and I mix mine pretty much half and half.

Moderation is key. [drink]

I have drank this one.

I am into cycling and I have drank one before doing a couple of training rides and I seemed to have a better ride. The cool thing about it is you do not crash hard like on red bull, monster, etc...
My sister is in Medical school and the teacher has caught a couple of them drink these type drinks and has been telling them you should not be drinking them at all but if you must no more than one a week because of the high doses of what is in it. She told me the problems but I forget but i remember to much vitamin b is bad and can even give you nightmares. Needless to say now I only have one a week if that.
Good old coffee for me.

Here's the newest one that's creating a load of controversy. Gee I wonder why.. [Huh?]

Anybody else heard about this one yet? Apparently if you buy the super duper deluxe kit, you get a fake credit card and all sorts of other stuff that mimics doing drugs. [ThumbsDown]

I will have to agree... ephedra was a total pick me up before it got banned for causing heart attacks...

when i was in grad school, I would pop these ephedra-containing pills before my morning workout... they make em without ephedra now, but they definitely arent as potent anymore.

Still legal in Canada....which is unbelieveable, then again you do not need a perscription for Antihistamines either...OR 222's (Pain killers with Codiene).

I prefered the stuff you could buy at convenience stores. They had ephedrine and guifenesine(used in many allergy medications to thin out mucus) You could breath better and had extra engergy, great for sports! Claus, know any good dealers? laugh

It is legal again. Hard to find because you have to have a license from the DEA to sell it, but some of the gas stations around here have it.

Here in Oregon you can buy them easily.

I think I have somewhere in the range of 3 bottles.

Most contain the 15mg

Sparks is great...Tilt is pretty much the same thing. When I was back in college we use to drink them in our night classes before we'd go out.

I've tried pretty much every energy drink out there. I use to drink them all the time in college and when i was interning (engineering can be tough). I use to buy the cases of red bull in bulk from Costco i drank so much. then all the stomach problems started. i had to get a colonoscopy and endoscopy and my whole stomach lining was completely shot. My doctor said all the energy drinks and caffiene most likely caused the majority of the damage. they are ok to drink once in a while, but just don't drink too many of them like i did

Ya, I saw some at a local gas station but they wanted me to fill out a form. I was all set on giving out my name, address and phone number to buy ephedrine, seemed kind of weird.

There's a club downtown that plays all Indie music and brings crazy trance/dance/pop bands from Europe. Anyway, the kids that go there dress all funky and drink Sparks. And PBR in a can. I guess it's the cool thing to do. (*sigh* I remember when I was a "kid" and used to be cool...)

Anyway -- here's an idea! How about getting more energy by being more ACTIVE and getting your vitamins the old-fashioned way --- from FOOD? wink

That sounds like entirely too much work. This is 2008, shouldn't we be getting all of our nutrients in little capsule form by now, being delivered by flying cars? [LOL]

PBR is cool? That's just a scary thought. Next thing you know, Old Milwaukee will be cool. Maybe Red, White & Blue will be next. Schlitz, anyone?
