Okay, I know that this flick is old. Yet, it is probably one of the best movies about the current events in Africa I've ever seen. I noticed how my fiance looked at her diamond in a different way throughout the movie. Every American who's about to engage should watch this movie

That was a good flick, though hard to watch at times.

I enjoyed the movie. I think they went on to long with it tho, they should have cut all that crap at the end and just ended it when he was on the hillside talking to the chick on the phone. They just had to add some extra political useless crap at the end which kinda spoiled it a little.

I did not get the last part as well. If a poor dude from Africa has a diamond worth 100 carats, then why not take the diamond and kill the dude in order to avoid the trace?
