In your guy's experience how much hp can i expect to get out of my 03 s/c without doing anything with internals? Just a question, i know you can go smaller on the pulley has anyone did that?

I dont know for sure how much HP I gained with the smaller pulley but I went from 6~7 psi to 10~11psi. I ve had it on for about 2 1/2 years going on 3, 52k miles. With that I have a Flowmaster and FIPK. Put a boost gauge on before doing this mod so you have something to measure the increase by other than your butt. I recommend the pulley ASP has to remove the pulley. Some say they dont recommend this mod becuase of detonation problems they ve experienced. I personally havent encountered this problem. Gas mileage hasnt increased or decreased, it all depends on how heavy my foot is that day. I m glad I did this mod as it is the most noticebale increase in power. smile

When I have time I need to finish working out my SC problem with the dealer. Then I'll probably look into getting the smaller pulley.

you could probably get like 20-25hp tops with bolt ons...(if you're lucky that is).

I know a guy that went from 178 RWHP to 233 RWHP with bolt on's (and welding). Course he had the S/C

Messed around with his intake
Played with exhaust
changed to a 2.4 pulley

Thanks to him, I'm hoping to hit 300 Crank hp soon (as in months). I should probably dyno it before though...

I expect everybody to flame me now with accusations.
