A local shop fabbed up this Magnaflow exhaust. It exits above the bumper line, so no more crushed tail pipe.

The sound is good, not too loud, just a nice grumble.

Very Nice! I like it! Mine exits out the side, I might have to switch that up. [ThumbsUp]

I've been running a MagnaFlow now for 4 years. Its held up great and still sounds good too. I used the 6 inch round by 22 inch long style with 2 3/4 inch in/out pipe.

Is that the stainless Magnaflow? I had two non-stainless Magnaflow mufflers and the both rusted through aroung the inlet and exit collars. The one on my X would spin around on the pipe. Hopefully they have improved in quality.

I have the same setup on my X. I also had the shop cut the pipe flush with the rear bumper.

the need for stainless is really dependent on where you are located. If your city/town applies salt and other corrosive chemicals to roads in winter months than having stainless can't hurt. However if you are in areas with very little snow fall, or where your road maintenance doesn't apply corrosive chemicals, than it's a total waste of money.
