I have a 2001 Xterra which has been good to me however it is way to weak. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to increase my horse power? Please include as much detail as possible including appoximate cost.

Thanks in advance,

Intake from k&n, exhaust from the local muffler shop. Those are the 2 cheapest methods.

Jim Wolf ECU ($450), RC 550cc injectors ($600), Walbro 255lph fuel pump ($80), Intake ($200), Exhaust ($350-550), Gears ($450), Lighter Wheels ($300-$++++), Spark Plugs/Wires ($250 together)

BTW, Those are approximate prices...

Drive to Nissan dealership.

Trade in 2001 model on 2006 model.

Gain 95 horsepower instantly.

are you the guy i saw on another forum that spent $600 on lug nuts?

on topic: i had a magna flow custom exhaust and a AEM brute force intake on my old truck. i didnt notice much at all, if any. just made it louder. if you want more power, upgrade the entire truck.

Nope, i saw that post though, that guy was a complete moron...plus those lugs went on a TypeS.

And like i have stressed before, dont expect to much power by just bolting stuff on. Tuning is where the power is, but it will cost you depeding on who you take the truck to.
