A Dremel with cutoff wheels is a toy. It's like giving away the razor and selling the blades, cuz you'll be forever buying more cutoff wheels. They're so thin and fragile, and take a good amount of time to cut something. Yeah, they're great for models and trimming finishing nails, but...

A hacksaw is cool, you might want to get a diamond dusted blade, or get a Makita 4" grinder that you can attach a REAL cutoff wheel to.
