What's that phrase, again? "A win is a win."

Holy crap, what a game! (and some good luck thrown in as well. [Finger] )

Ducks Down Sooners, 34-33
No. 18 Oregon rallied for two touchdowns in the final 72 seconds and the Ducks blocked a field goal on the final play to seal a wild 34-33 victory over No. 15 Oklahoma.

GO DUCKS!!!

Bull shit game. mad We got screwed by some shitty calls. They gave them the offsides kick and a bullshit pass interferance call. Home cookin at its finest [ThumbsDown]

Oregon, their fans, the Pac 10, and last but not least the incompetent baboons dressed as referees should all be ashamed. The replay official should be fired.

If Oregon had any integrity, they'd forfeit the game.

But I guess "a win is a win." Pathetic.

1 - Snoop did not fumble. Knee was down.

2 - 2 non-called expired clocks. One on a TD throw.

3 - Blatent offensive PI not called on another OU TD catch.

All those were bad calls that went against Oregon, two of which directly led to OU points. The onsides kick was probably a bad call as well.

But guess what? When you're spotted 16 points, give up over 500 yards in offense to the other team, yet still can't win - the officials didn't cost you the game.

Just to give you an idea on how pathetic the refs were. They showed a shot on tv with the OU player stepping out of bounds on the Oklahoma side of the 50 yard line. When they placed the ball, it was on the Oregon side. [Spit] [Freak] [Uh Oh !]

I noticed that too - and it was a 6 yard difference. [Freak]

Agree with #3, I saw that one too. Disagree on the fumble, and the clock thing was too close to call.

The onsides kick and the pass interference were obvious to anyone with better than 20/200 vision.

The officiating was a disgrace.

Somebody over on eDuck posted a pic of snoop with his knee down and the ball still in his possession. I can't seem to find it now, but I'll post it here if/when I run accross it. None of the video I saw during the game itself seemed to provide any "indisputable" evidence, so I can understand them not overturning the call.

The 2 blown timing calls were crap. A clock at 0 before the play starts = penalty. Period.

The bottom line here is that the game was poorly officiated and BOTH teams suffered. OU had all the chances in the world to win this one and they couldn't close the deal.

Bring on the Sundevils. cool

A-men! I'll be at the game wearing green and gold! Driving there in my green SUV, with my big green/gold Oregon flag. Sore losers. [Finger] wink [ThumbsUp]

Oh, before I forget - new polls are out:
"...and Oregon, which jumped five spots (to #13AP, #12 USA Today) after its wild 34-33 victory over Oklahoma..."

"Oklahoma dropped two spots to No. 17" Oops!

Yeah, 2 spots, wow. Guess losing to a "powerhouse" like Oregon doesn't do much to your standing. Or maybe they just took the home cooking into account.

BTW, heard that the head ref went to high school with the Ducks' coach and that they're old buddies. What a shocking development.
